If travelling by Euro Tunnel the trains depart from Folkstone every 30 minutes.
The roads in France are generally well maintained, in particular the AutoRoute's (motorways) which are designated A roads and national highways or N roads. The excellent network of motorways enables
good access to the south west from all directions.
By train
The high-speed TGV links Paris (Montparnasse and Austerlitz
stations) to Bordeaux at nearly
200 km/h in just under 3 hours. These trains continue to Toulouse,
adding nearly 2 hours to the
journey time.
